Grad pics! Handed these over to us about a week ago, although I just managed to fix my scanner today..wee

Music week
What’s not to love about Coldplay? I’ve been listening to a lot of underrated songs lately and I figured maybe it’s high time for some publicity. Not that I’d make a difference on it…anyhow, here are some of my top picks for the week.

There’s a good mix with this particular song and Coldplay’s Paradise. Try listening to both and you’ll definitely feel wonderful.
We are listening and we’re not blind, this is your life, this is your time ;
and then : para-para-paradiseeee ~ haha ok,it just fits right into the song, don’t you think?

Dramatic photo. More or less expected from the song by James Morrison and Jessie J’s Up. I feel the song’s very nostalgic in some way,and I bet once you get to hear the song, you’ll be quick enough to agree with me too. <3
I admit,I’m not very addicted to K-pop. I used to like listening to them, but now I guess putting pretty faces dancing all around strange rooms make them so popular now. More so the dancing gets repetitive and we have yet to key in on their bizarre language. Addictive, yes, and that’s precisely what makes it click. But hey,a lot of other groups have videos that actually make sense and are interesting enough. A little late,I know, but isn’t TVXQ’s Before U Go amazing? The song was already pretty catchy, but the video was the best of all. Such a twisted plot.

Ever spotted this before? ^
Hello! And no,I’m not dead yet,if most of you have figured that out during my absence. I kind of lost interest in Tumblr for a while but then I missed blogging so much that I just had to come back…not to mention I had ideas of deactivating this blog and move to Wordpress or Livejournal instead, but then that would’ve been such a hassle.
I have this penchant for stationery and drawing supplies,so I pass by bookstores almost frequently to get myself some neat stuff…especially if they come in awfully cheap prices.

I happened to pick up some art supplies from a nearby stand and this is what caught my attention — newspaper-made pencils (and colored pencils). Very efficient and economical. What’s next? Tissue colored pencils?
Adding to that,I bet this came all the way from Japan (correct me if I’m wrong) or something, judging from its creative factors. You’ll know what I mean once you get to buy it. Stuff like these are commonly sold at expensive prices so it’s a good thing I got them for only 54 Php respectively. Considering the aspiring freelance artist I am,I’m pretty glad I got to save at least 2 packs if I might need them in the future hahaha./
Did I mention I’m also dying to watch My Week with Marilyn? The second movie I mean, with Michelle Williams as the lead.

The highly anticipated film is receiving much Oscar buzz as early as now, so it’s definitely a must-see. Plus,I’m practically in love with Michelle Williams.
Extra : Have you watched Blue Valentine? (Ryan Gosling co-stars) Now that I’ve mentioned the lovely Ryan, you might want to see the movie now. *smirk*
Of course,I wouldn’t have been so interested in this if not for Marilyn herself. Hell anybody’s a sucker for this class-A bombshell. Tell me if I’m wrong.

Today marks the last day of my sem-break…and being fifteen! To be honest,I don’t remember much of my other birthdays and how I spent them, then again, I know I always asked for the same gift every time—a perm treatment. Yes! No kidding. But like they say,it’s high time for a new “you”…so I decided to stick around with my all-natural locks. I’ll be missing that 10-day sem-break,by the way!:(
I almost forgot about some photos I never managed to upload prior to my hiatus,so that concludes I might be able to come up with another photo dump sooner.
In the meantime….

Lol.
At long last after a 3 month-long hiatus! There’s so much for me to tell you but I’m not quite sure as to how much I’d be able to fit it in one whole post…
Instead,I’ll just give you a few of them in full detail.:)

Enter all-out vegan diet @ San Benito’s farm
Not a really big fan of veggies,so let’s just say I got dragged in here through something I would call “country bumpkin” activity from none other than my family.
I’m much more adept to the city life, much to your dismay,I presume…

My dad recently came home from his trip to Russia, and you’d never guess what he brought home if it weren’t for the picture above: Truffles! Sweet indulgence, indeed. Of course,Halloween came by so fast that I managed to wolf them down in only a few seconds!
Happy sem-break everyone!:)
This month’s cravings…

Yes,I can finally admit how I immediately became a fan of this unlikely group of band mates who happened to emerge anonymously out of the vast entertainment scene. Or,at least, their songs that happily remind me of the Gorillaz. Pumped-Up Kicks was an alternatively great addition to the usual monotonous mainstream acts we hear nowadays,so it’s quite a thrill to hear something new once in a while, agree?:)

Seriously, indie films here in the Philippines need greater publicity. If you know what I mean. So unlike those high-paid movies we promote and love so much, indie films are less likely to be asinine, predictable, and cliched in many ways. That’s what I think, but of course,it’s not like I’m trying to stop you guys from watching them anymore, that is,if you still enjoy watching dangerous love affairs and all-out slapstick comedy (though I admit,I am a fan of this sometimes). So go ahead and indulge in some of our own Filipino pride. And get this—-indie films soar even greater heights internationally,so why not make it start here first?
